The grey roof tilting louvres can be manually opened or closed by using the crank handle. You may have them closed to create a sheltered space or open to provide sunlight. The Maze Pergola allows you to enjoy your outdoor space whatever the British weather has to offer. There is no need to open the louvres to drain any excess rainwater as it incorporates an intelligent built-in drainage system which allows the water to drain down the inside of the legs directly to an outlet which drains the water into the ground.
In addition to this, there are remote-controlled LED mood lighting strips around the perimeter of the gutter system. The LED strips can be multicoloured or white only and are easily adjusted with a remote control. You can also set the lights to automatically change the colour periodically or keep it one colour. The lights are dimmable to your desired brightness.
PLEASE NOTE – We advise a firm ground fixing is used for this pergola, ideally bolted to a concrete base. Please note paving slabs are not suitable for fixing as they can lift in windy weather. Pergolas should be built on level ground to ensure proper functioning of Louvre Panels and Drop Side Blinds. If you purchase louvre panels the feet cover will not fit around the pergola post.
Disclaimer: If the pergola is fitted with privacy blinds, we recommend fully opening the blinds during strong winds to prevent damage and ensure product longevity.
